DESCRIPTION:  \nTB Public Hearing – Local Law __ of 2025 Vets Exemption\n  \nProposed Local Law No. __ of 2025 – Veteran’s Exemption\n  \nTOWN OF PENDLETON \nNOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING \n  \n  \nPLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Pendleton will conduct a Public Hearing the 27th day of January\, 2025 at 6:45 p.m. in the Pendleton Town Hall\, Pendleton\, New York.  The purpose of the hearing is to receive public input on a proposed Local Law to add the following subsection 224-15 to the Pendleton Town Code Section 224 General Legislation\, Taxation; \n  \nThe Alternative Veteran’s Exemption from Real Property Taxation under Section 458-a of the Real Property Tax law (RPTL) of the State of New York\, is to increase so that the maximum exemptions permitted by §458-a (2) a\, b\, and c shall be thirty thousand dollars\, twenty thousand dollars\, and one hundred thousand dollars respectively\, to qualifying veterans. \n  \nA copy of the proposed Local Law shall be available at the Pendleton Town Hall and/ or the Town of Pendleton Website at www.pendletonny.us . \n  \nDeborah K.
