DESCRIPTION:Who: The Bear Ridge Solar Project and Cypress Creek Renewables \n What: Advisory Working Group (AWG) \n When & Where:  \nMay 15\, 2019 \nWendelville Fire Company \n7340 Campbell Blvd. \nNorth Tonawanda\, NY 14120 \n6:30 – 8:00 PM \n Why: The Bear Ridge Solar Project will host a series of Advisory Working Groups (AWG) to share ideas regarding plans to enhance clean energy in Western New York through the development of a utility scale solar facility in the Town of Cambria and the Town of Pendleton. Advisory Working Groups provide opportunities for the community to interact with project experts on topics of interest to them. The resident-requested topic for the May 14 & 15 AWGs is Visual Impacts. Two sessions are scheduled\, one in Pendleton and one in Cambria. All are welcome. No experience or expertise needed to participate. \nMore Information:  \nThe Bear Ridge Solar Project proposed facility in Cambria and Pendleton\, NY will deliver clean\, reliable\, renewable solar energy into the grid in Western New York. That’s power for nearly 25\,000 homes and businesses\, construction jobs for up to 300—and economic benefits for the community. \nBear Ridge Solar LLC plans to file its Preliminary Scoping Statement (“PSS”) on or around February 15\, 2019.
